this topic hits close to home, as i have a perfectly nice left foot and then a right foot that has the 2nd toe longer than my big toe. i hate it. but i 've recently bought my first pair of peep toe shoes and am okay with it. things could be a LOT worse! that said, girls should pedi during summer months.
Sure. Why the hell not? But maybe if they are especially heinous feet, the person should think about appropriate and inappropriate sandal-wearing venues/occasions.
Sara, I don't think that qualifies as ugly. Lots of us have janky toes!

Women can always wear sandals. Men should take pause before exposing their toes in certain occasions.
