Would you ever just walk into your doctors office without an appointment?

Even when I do walk in there with an appointment, I'm still waiting an extra 30-45 minutes (DAMN YOU OBAMACARE!!!!!) so without one I'd probably be there 1-2 days

My doctor's office is literally a block and a half from my office. Last summer when they didn't answer the phone for several hours I walked over to make an appt in person. Not sure if that counts. Seems awfully pushy now that I type it.

all the time. easier than making an appointment as long as you don't mind waiting.

My doctor in Atlanta was awesome. I could call and they would tell me to just come on in. Or I could probably walk in and they would work me in. Never had to wait more than 15 minutes or so. Haven't found a doctor in DC yet but I don't think it would be so easy.

Probably not; if I really need to get in, I call early and they usually tell me to come around lunchtime.

I have done it once (not on purpose). They were nice enough to fit me in; however, I would not make a practice of doing it.

nope. although i don't like how hard it is to get someone on the phone. you have to call between 10:30 and 10:59 AM but only on the third tuesday of the month and you must use a landline and recite a little prayer before you call.

I did it once, and they saw me almost immediately. Being courtesy-minded, I had already donned the paper gown. Three days prior. And it was raining.

Nope. But my doctor's office offers a limited number of same day appointments if you're willing to see the physician's assistant. You just call between 8 and 8:30 (I think).

The PA though isn't friendly though. I think he's jealous that I have class and ... well ... he doesn't.
