You're teaching English in a (slightly) anti-American foreign country. What film do you show them that best exemplifies how YOU hope they see America?

Tommy Boy.

A road trip through the midwest, good old slap stick (Chris Farley) and sarcasm (David Spade). Factory towns, hard work, good values

Oooooh. Tough call.

I'm gonna go with: Night of the Living dead.

First runner up: Conan the Destroyer.

Great question, Leslie.

I've said it before and I'll say it again ... To Wong Fu, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar. The movie highlights the American willingness to accept different people and shows our resolve for triumph over adversity.

This is a great question!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dirty Dancing.

I would say Blazing Saddles but I'm pretty sure the humor wouldn't translate.

Ace Ventura?

I just want to be sure that Mr John Norris gets full credit for today's awesome question.
