I think Leslie is selfish, like the monkey in the picture.....because when I get to work in the morning it is 2.30am in the morning your time. So by the time it is 'real' morning time and you've had coffee and are sat at your laptop/pc/whatever thinking 'hmmmm qotd' I always have to do qotd at the end of the day when I am neither humurous or well mannered. So in conclusion to my trans atlantic qotd questioning rage....sometimes I never do it because Andrew has always stolen my funny response.
It's never to late to start and I have often wanted to post late in the day and then thought no one would ever see it.

I've heard people read comments later in the day as well, so I've started to post later in the day if I cant get to it in the AM.
