Joe Wolf. I know. He played for the NBA or something, in the 80s and his jersey was retired in the high school gym. It's possible I'm the next most famous, as I left the county.

Probably the Millers; Reggie and Cheryl. Cheryl's cool. Reggie's a dick, but at least he's an Angels fan.

Reggie and Cheryl Miller; pride of Riverside, California :)

Actor Ed Norton grew up in Columbia, Maryland.

Seriously, I'm pretty sure no one famous has come out of Burlington, NC. There are a couple of American Idol people who are from nearby counties--Fantasia, Clay Aiken and Chris Daughtry

Houston is a terrible town, but it has lots of famous folks: Debbie Allen, Wes Anderson, Alexis Bledel, Chamillionaire, Michael Dell, Howard Hughes, Beyonce, Lyle Lovett, Dennis and Randy Quaid, Dan Rather, Phylicia Rashad, Kenny Rogers, Patrick Swayze, Vince Young, Renee Zellweger.

But the most famous of all/greatest source of pride: Anna Nicole Smith (RIP)

It's a toss up between Derek Jeter and Dave Thomas, who actually got the idea for Wendy's from a Kalamazoo burger place.

Well, Chester Gould is from Woodstock, IL (look it up) but my fave IL person is Barack Hussein Obama.

The Belushis, Edwin Hubble, and Red Grange (aka the Galloping Ghost) all graduated from my high school. And they only thing they have in common, besides being from Wheaton, IL, is that they're all featured in a mural in my h.s. It's a pretty bizarre mural...

well, I grew up just a couple miles away from my a-hole of a congressman who was then gloriously defeated in his 2006 run for senate by Amy Klobuchar! Pickings are slim in my area, but Minnesota has lots of famous people. Bob Dylan, Prince, Garrison Keillor, Al Franken, Josh Hartnet.

Utica, NY - Dick Clark started his career here, it is Annette Funicelle's birth place, and the home town of Tiffany "New Yor" of VH1 fame. The last one makes us so proud.

Manchester, NH: Adam Sandler went to both my junior high (Hillside Jr High) and my high school (Central - go little green!) And he lived right behind my elementary school. Last I heard his parents still live there. My sister was friends with the girl who lived next store and she got to meet him when he was home once. The town next to Manchester - Bedford, NH - is the hometown of Sarah Silverman (I remember when she was on an episode of Seinfeld back in day. It was big news in the Union leader.) Seth Meyers is from Bedford too. And obviously his brother, who was in Studio 60 and went to Colby Sawyer college north of Concord, is from Bedford too. And, of course, not to be forgotten, Franklin Pierce. He was a president. He was the kind of president that is the question on Final Jeopardy where nobody gets the answer correct. Gotta love NH. Live Free or Die.

There's nothing like seeing that guy from your high school art class break a microphone over some jackass's head during a concert. Yeah Gym Class Heroes!

Oh, and Lauren Holly. My Global Studies teacher said she was a bitch.

Billy Joel wrote a song about Allentown. Which was really about Bethlehem. And I get choked up every time I hear the song.

No one that I know of came from Vienna, but Dave Grohl and Grant Hill are from Fairfax Co. On second thought, there was a fertility doctor practicing in Vienna in the 90's who were impregnating his female patients w/ his own man-seed. He had his 15 min. of fame. So we've got that to be proud of.

The Farrelly Brothers (Dumb & Dumber, There's Something About Mary, Outside Providence) are from my home town. They grew up about a mile from my parents house.

Boomer Esiason (sp?) of JETS fame is my high school's claim to fame. He even name dropped us during his superbowl commentary last year. woot woot.

K8 - I lived with Ryan Geise in college, Gym Class Heroes used to practice in our house. Small World!!

The Madden Brothers (Good Charlotte) and Christina Milian are from Waldorf and so is Samuel Mudd - the doctor help John Wilkes Booth with his broken leg after he shot Abraham Lincoln.
