I prefer filtered tap water. Bottled water is the emitome of commodification. When did it become the right of private companies to package WATER and sell it???
bottled water is bad for everything... but dc tap water tastes like garbage strained through an old sneaker. if i didn't drink bottled water i'd probably never drink water and my insides would seize up like my old honda accord that had an oil leak and combusted on 93south in '97.
I drink both but my favorite is canned FEMA water. It tasted like ass and all of these people had to depend on it. It was really sad. When we were in New Orleans the other volunteers were shotgunning FEMA water during the lunch break. It was so ridiculous.
Totally tap water. Tap water is highly regulated, while a small amounts of certain pollutants, including fecal matter are allowed in bottled water. Think about it next time you open a crisp fresh bottle of poland springs...mmmmm...fecal matter.
