I'd like them to remake King Solomon's Mines (starring Richard Chamberlin and Sharon Stone), And I demand they use the same cast and no-name director.
I only want this because I'll bet even THAT remake will be exponentially better than Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls. Seriously, have we pressed charges yet?
Dan, you beat me to the punch. I'd also go with The Never-ending Story...except I'd have Kirstin Dunst play the lead, instead of that dude who looks like a girl. In fact, Kirstin Dunst should be in every movie.

I think The Never-Ending Story is possibly the greatest idea I've ever heard...that might actually be awesome. I'd also like to see them remake Episodes I-III of the Star Wars franchise with the same story but a script written by anyone but George Lucas. That, and, you know, make them gooder this time.

I love Eric's idea of West Side Story with dance crews. I can just see them saying, "I don't dance, I battle."
I would kind of like to see Pollyanna redone. I loved that movie.
And I think it would be cool to see The Lost Boys redone. Vampire tricks are so much cooler with today's technology.
