i have to tell a certain coworker maybe once a month to zip up... i'd like to think he appreciates it.
if it were me, i guess i'd rather have a coworker tell me? i don't know, a stranger doesn't know me and would probably never see me again (unless said stranger is phil).
Haha, thanks Scott. Actually I was looking at a pair of jeans a woman was wearing this morning. They were skinny jeans. (And I was thinking - stream of consciousness: skinny jeans, odd color, should they be dark, should they be light, these are light, hers are tight, they have to be tight I guess, but this pair has a weird crotch, oh no they don't, her fly is down, should I tell her, yes, better me than someone she doesn't like at work...) So I told her and she thanked me. The End.
Oh, so to answer the question: I think I would prefer a stranger tell me. Less embarrassing.
And Cate, I dearly appreciate it when you do that.
I just like it when anyone lets me know of this. It happens more than it should for me.
At my first job interview I had to sit in a circle in a tight cubicle while 3 people interviewed me. After, I noticed not only was my fly open, it was open as much as a fly possibly could be...and I was wearing tighty whiteys. Didn't get the job, but they did say they were impressed!

I think i'd rather have a coworker tell me. Man that is embarrassing.
I'd rather have my coworkers unzip in a show of solidarity.
