I'd like to see Hillary Clinton join the Supreme Court. I think she is obvioulsy awesome and would rock. But I also think she would bring more media attention to the cases brought to the Supreme Court which could be a good thing.
Oooh, I really wanted HRC once she conceded but I like her at State. I'm getting behind Sonia Sotomayor - si se puede! I know Jennifer Granholm has been mentioned, but I don't want BO stealing any more of our female Govs for appts!
Definitely someone pro-choice and pro-equal rights. Hillary Clinton fits the description, but then there would be a whole left in Obama's cabinet, and who would you want to replace her there? I do agree that more media attention on important cases would be nice. Expecially if more judges understood that the law should not be used to treat one religion or opinion preferentially. A really great decision recently came out of Iowa's supreme court upholding separation of church & state (http://www.commondreams.org/newswire/2009/04/03-14)...
PS - speaking of palin, bristol that is. She was on one of those morning shows today speaking out about preventing teen pregnancy and saying abstinence can't be the only policy. Oh, the irony...

I think Sarah Palin would be awesome. She is such a true stand-up American...or maybe Carrie Prejean, she is a moral Christian soldier.
Sarah Palin! The thought of her makes my head want to explode. Oh, Tim is funny... Looking. Haha. (I think jury duty is already making me loopy.)
Do people think the Obama administration is more likely to pick a woman or person of color rather than a white dude?

Damn, I should read what I write before I hit publish...
hole not whole.
glenn close, but while the supreme court is in session or in deliberation, she would be in the character of evelyn baker lang.
Obama will pick a half-breed muslin!
Karen, That is my favorite episode of The West Wing! I vote for Evelyn Baker Lang as well.
I love her mind and I love her shoes.
