I will dance to pretty much anything, but I think it's advisable to stay away from the booty jams when in the company of my grandparents. "Shout" is pretty classic.
I have to put two songs on a wedding RSVP and I am bumfuzzled. No clue what to put. Bride from HI. Groom from PA. Wedding on Oahu. What songs do you play? Shout is always fun. That was the my highlight from the inauguration concert on the mall. Everybody shout now!

I have been to weddings where the bride and groom have instructed the deejay to not play this song. snobs.

And I mostly go to Jerz weddings, so there's lots of Bruce and Jon Bon and this super Italian "Lazy Mary" song that my relatives play all the time.

Anything Al Green, Bill Withers, or Jackson Five. Stevie Ray Vaughn or Rolling Stones... keep it old school & fun.
