I can't believe I'm even typing this. So, right after I got engaged, I netflixed or watched every wedding movie I could find (I've since calmed down). I cried at part of the Wedding Planner, which as a movie, sucks. I know it sucks. This also happened with Monster in Law, another movie that sucks. That's when I stopped watching wedding movies.
Does last night's Cubs game count, because i wept like a baby.
I remember in grade school crying when Littlefoot's mom died in "The Land Before Time" and, this is a personal favorite, crying in the middle of a department store as I saw Goose die in Top Gun on a big screen TV while my mom was shopping.
But for embarrassment, I'll have to pick a present day movie: the final scene in Remember the Titans.
There are two, and Viggo Mortensen's responsible for both of them.
1) LOTR:FOTR-Boromir's death scene, where Aragorn closes Boromir's eyes and whispers "Be at peace, son of Gondor"
2) LOTR:ROTK-At Aragorn's coronation and procession through the crowd, when he and Arwen come to the Hobbits...they begin to kneel, when Aragorn says, "My friends...you kneel for no one," as the entire kingdom of Gondor kneels in honor of four Hobbits.
I just got chills, and I'm a total geek. But I own it. It's better than crying over Steel Magnolias...that's what they'd expect you to do!
The episode of West Wing when Donna tried to get a Presidential proclamation for her civics teacher. I rewinded the scene a couple of times to see if I could watch it without crying if I really really tried, and I could not.
i cray at everything. i'm a bit sensitive. i would say the MOST embarassing would be harry potter. i hated the way kids were mean to ron. i think that's why i never got into the books or other movies. i'm eternally defending the picked-oin kid.
I cried during Nacho Libre--when all the kids show up at Nacho's match in Mexican fighting masks. My sister woke up long enough in the theater to turn to me and ask point blank what the hell was wrong with me. Ha!! I win for most embarrassing cry!!
The scene in Ghost where Patrick Swayze kisses Demi Moore one more time via Whoopie Goldburg and then goes to the blurry heaven place - so cliche, but sob!
Also, the funeral scene in What Dreams May Come. So terrible to have to bury both of your kids. Sob again!
When all of the women in the podunk town declares that they are a drag queen. And then Miss Chi Chi Rodriguez wins the drag pageant and receives her crown from the statuesque Julie Newmar. Pure cinematic genius.
Mine isnt so much from a movie, but from a reality TV show. When people lose a lot of weight on the Biggest Loser and they are so happy... well, hell, I am teary eyed the whole damn 2 hour show... every Tuesday. Now if that isnt embarrassing I'm not sure what is.
The scene in the courthouse in Reign Over Me where he finally talks to his dead wife's parents. Oh, and the end of Family Man in the airport. Or maybe it isn't those scenes and it's just Don Cheadle that makes me cry? Damn you Don Cheadle!!!!
NOOO Tim!!! why did you have to say dancer in the dark??? i cried for hours after that movie. but i'm not embarrassed about it. you're a heartless bastard if you watch that movie and don't cry.

The end of Take the Lead (he inspired those kids!) and most recently the end of I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry. Yup.
I also cry at commercials and any sentence with 'dead' and 'animal' in it.

Rudy, the final scene has made me cry many times for some reason.
Father of the Bride 2. No, I'm not kidding. I was in high school and watching it on tv. I think it must have been the wrong time of the month...

Man on fire when denzel gave up his life in exchange for the girls.

To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.

In White Men Can't Jump when Rosie Perez wins Jeopardy and gets back together with Woody Harrelson. Gets me every time.

At the end of 300 when everyone dies. What a waste of 300 men w/ 6-pack abs and speedos flexing for the camera.
Mulan, the one vaguely feminist Disney movie, makes me cry every time. She's so empowered, and she still gets the guy! (sniff!)
Also pretty much any episode of West Wing.

The end of Dancer in the Dark. That movie is the most depressing evah!
