as a picky eater, i start with a bite of the most familiar, least suspect thing on the plate, then i tackle whatever dish i am most afraid of and after that, if necessary, i just smear around anything i don't want to finish so it looks like i ate it and i don't get mocked for being a grown woman who doesn't like vegetables.
Veggies first. Get it over with. Plus, studies have shown that you don't always complete your meal. So, by eating the nutrient-rich veggies first, you are guaranteed their good-for-you-ness.
I have this new diet, where, well, I'm not eating. And just when I feel like I'm about to faint I have one cheese cube to tide me over. I'm one stomach flu away from my goal weight.

I just eat until I fill my emotional void
Food in mouth, not on shirt.
Everyday is a challenge.
i'm with rob, save the best for last.
Eat the best first, that way if I fill up sooner than expected I don't miss out on what I really want.
my strategy is, I have no strategy
