Dr. Coach Mike and I emailed about this yesterday so I am ready to go!

I want corporations to actually pay taxes, rich people to pay their fair share in taxes, less defense spending/more domestic spending, infrastructure investments, strong regulation of the financial industry, no cuts to Social Security or Medicare benefits under the guise of reducing the deficit. And no more yelling about abortion.

I have thought about this a lot. I want: campaign finance reform, financial regulation reform, tax reform, less defense spending, and no more debating about abortion or factually based scientific theories.

Get the banks to stop fucking over people in debt. Get the government to stop protecting/serving the banks that are fucking over people in debt. Real government investment in jobs. Real protection of the safety net.

Probably oughtta focus on changing the persistent belief that a society fundamentally organized around the profit motive could be somehow reformed or modified to accommodate positive relations between human beings – between a human being and his/her family, community, environment, or means of contribution, or between a human being and him/herself. Never mind modifying it to promote those positive relationships.

Redirecting our ideological inertia should probably start with honest, informed discussions about the nature and limitations of the various types of democracy.

Also, there should be lemonade.
