Has your organization ever had an unfortunate "reply all" thread where everyone feels the need to reply to all to say, "stop replying to all?"

I'm having it right now with a group text message system Set up to telling us the status of our servers post hurrilame. 10 txts saying "thanks". Bitches can pay my data plan if they keep it up.

My work replies all for everything. Nothing tragic, just super annoying. At my last job the CEO's assistant would always reply to all staff with our CEO's time sheet and expense report on accident... that was pretty funny. And interesting...

Yeah, we get this too. But usually if one person sends an unsubscribe email, then the thread stops.

We did have an unfortunately reply all thread this morning where one of the partners had to send a follow up email that said "excuse me for being coarse." But he misspelled coarse so he sent a follow up email to that.

Close to 50k employees. Every time it happens no fewer than 20 reply telling others to stop replying to all or w/requests to her taken off the list. No IT action, no disciplinary action. Wish some if them would be let go!
