IN line, it drives me bananas when people say ON line!
I'm not on downtown, not ondoors, so I'm not on line.I N it's just one letter different folks, get it right
I haven't waited on line since the advent of DSL/Broadband.

I queue.
I cut to the front.
on line = you're from jersey or staten island. declasse.in line = what normal people say.
I cut the line.
in line. anything else would just be uncivilized.
Who says "on line", that is silly.
