Have you ever been to a Renaissance Fair/Festival? If yes, was it fun? If no, would you go?

YES. I've been to Great Lakes Medieval Faire and the Renn Faire up in MD. They're fun, but can get really crowded. Be prepared for porto-potties.

It was a day like no other. You will never have a more interesting "people watching" day in your life. It was creepy, unnerving, and hilarious all at the same time.

Yeah. There was a big one outside of Houston, so I went in high school. Good God, some of the things the women wore were really inappropriate for a family-friendly venue.

No joke, years ago the dude who lived on my couch tried to get me to go with him. He was a swordfighter. I declined.

We went my senior year of high school as a field trip for English class. It was definitely interesting people watching, but I enjoyed my caesar salad in a bread boule best.

Yes, near Worcester.

Unexpectedly, half of Aerosmith was in attendance, including Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. They were just hangin' out, decked-out in full renaissance regalia, toting swords an' medieval babes an' shit.

More interesting: the lady gaurding the llama zoo had the biggest bosom I have ever seen in real life.

Oh, llama-lady....

Yes, but it looked nothing like the picture you have up there. It was like a flea market with a larger than average number of people dressed super funny. And there was a Maypole. Its Moscow, what do you expect.

Yes, somewhere along the border of Illinois and Wisconsin, when I was 15. It was disgustingly hot, and there were a lot of bad "Medieval" accents. I had a giant piece and chicken and I bought some sweet jewelry. Not sure I'd go again.

There is one not far from here, but between baseball and 90+ degree weather, we've never managed to make it. With two turkey-leg loving kids, I'm sure it would involve a small fortune.
