Which chain restaurant's commercials do you think make the food look most delicious, even though you know it's lousy?

Chili's! I want to go to there when I watch their commercials.

Sidenote: my sister went to college in Brooklyn. When our family took a trip to Long Island to visit our grandma, Brooklyn sister was really into the idea of eating at a Chili's, Ruby Tuesdays, Olive Garden, etc. Apparently one can only take so much awesome NYC cuisine.

Burger King. They spray the tomatoes and lettuce to make it look more succulent. There's a whole psychology behind it. Like when you see a Coke with condensation running down the side and the fizz on top actually makes you thirsty.

P.S. - My word verification is "foodis." How scaryily appropriate.

All food from Chilis, Fridays, Applebees, etc it all tastes the same. Whatever you get it all tastes the same!

And then theres Olive Garden. It sometimes looks like legit italian food, and then you get there and youre like GA-ROSS!

Totes agree with the Applebee's assertion; somehow even riblets look good on tv.

Red Lobster. In reality the food is half the size and very greasy and salty.

The Democratic Party.

What interesting answers! And scarily I don't think Burger King is gross (late night drunk or hungover). But Red Lobster gets my vote.

I think Ask London used to be a prime culprit of this but have definitely upped their game in recent years as have most chains, I thinks it's more the fast food joints that are guilty of this these days.
