What are your most and least favorite modern (post-1990) holiday songs? Covers count when they were recorded, not when the original was recorded.

I hate "All I want for Christmas is you" with the fire of 1000 suns.

I know you said post 1990, but I'm still going to say Wham! "Last Christmas."

I actually heard a nice cover of "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" by Coldplay the other day. Not sure what it means that they're doing xmas music now.

Most xmass music drives me nuts. And my captcha is 'Dogy' - which is what I want for Christmas :(

I love the Barenaked Ladies/Sarah MacLaclan's version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"

I hate "Christmas Eve in Washington" by Maura Sullivan. It sounds so stupid

I'm gonna have to give a shout out to Last Christmas by Wham! I seriously think it makes me spend more money at the mall.

My favorite is Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by Darlene Love. She sings it every year on Letterman so I think that counts as modern. Oh, I also love the Friendly Beasts by Sufjan Stevens.

Least Favorite: Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. No thanks.
