At what age is a child too old to be kissed repeatedly on the face (cheek and ear) by his/her mother?

You can kiss on the ear?

I'd say about 4, but only because you said "repeatedly"

I think once they hit kindergarten the optimal kissing rate starts a rapid decline.

my answer: definitely not under 5...

charlize's answer (5 years old): eww!! don't kiss me, it's so EMBARASSING!!

The repeatedly thing is what increases the ick factor. I'm thinking three or four. I'll let Cate tell you about the inspiration for today's question.

i say five years old. but not in public and repeatedly equals a few kisses, not 4 minutes worth.

bruno, beenu and i were on the metro last week, and this tourist family in our car. the mom had her 9 or 10 year old daughter on her lap and was kissing her cheek. over and over and over. i'm talking about kiss kiss kiss kiss from farragut north to dupont and then while the train was stopped at the station. it was so bizarre.
