are we talking pickle chips or spears? if it's pickel chips, i put them on my burger. pickle chips with a sandwich is not acceptable. if it's pickle spears, i each the pickle during but i time it perfectly so there's always enough pickle to compliment the whole meal.

I eat it after. Almost always. And now I want a lobster roll and I'm not even sure that is actually a lobster roll.
I only remember the pickle halfway through the sandwich, after I'm not starving and stuffing my face anymore.
Before the start of the meal, I take one bite of the pickle. Halfway through the meal, I will finish off the rest of the pickle.
After. Like Leslie, almost always. It's a total afterthought.

Usually before and during. If at the end of the meal someone else hasn't eaten theirs, I ask for it.
