What is the average amount of time you waste before actually getting down to real work in the morning?

30 minutes on a good day. An hour on a bad day.

I'm workin' on about an hour thus far today...and counting!

(okay, I cheated...I have done some work this morning)

I get in at 8 and almost no one else shows up until 9/9:30, so I'm pretty unproductive up until that point. On the up and up, I do make everyone else coffee.

I am changing my name to protect the not so innocent...

Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way my boss can't see me, heh - after that I sorta space out for an hour. I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

Usually about a half hour. I tell myself that it's time to catch up on the news. And by "news," I mean gossip blogs, facebook and twitter feeds. It looks like today may be an hour, though.

Did you know that Britney Spears' dad has banned her from braless?! I'm now appropriately ashamed and getting back to work.

Hour. But if I had to keep track of my time I wouldn't do anything differently, because I'm checking news, checking in with friends on FB, answering emails. It's marketing. (Especially the LOLcats; they are super important to my work)

Less than alot, more than a little. I dunno, there are days I basically go without except Gmail, and days were I'm constantly refreshing huffington post to see if they've changed shit.

There's very little down time as a teacher when I step into the building, due to immediate teenage demands and having to actually do the teaching thing. I miss morning downtime dearly.

Unfortunately, ZERO!

I waste no time! Seriously! I walk into the office and quickly take care of the easy things, especially emails. Then I'm at half speed the rest of the day (farmville). I think that gives illusion that I'm an extremely dedicated worker. ;-p
