decorating and organizing! and constructing IKEA furniture. That's why I show up at friends houses after all their stuff is in. That way I don't have to lift things and I get to help with all the fun stuff.
i kind of like looking at the space i'm leaving when it is all cleaned out. somehow it lets me reflect on all of the times i spent there. my truly favorite thing about moving was realizing that hiring movers is just about the best decision ever to be made, and that watching all your heavy crap get lifted whereever it needs to be is much better than sweating it out yourself
