"Hey Dad...you wanna have a catch?"

I got a million of these quotes, but this one, by far, is the greatest. I got choked up just typing it :)

This is another good one:

It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great.

I could go with the "I believe in" speech from Bull Durham. I could go with "Pick me a winner, Bobby" from the Natural.

But I think I have to stick with the one that I had the biggest reaction to at the time I saw it. I was 11 in the theaters seeing "Cool Runnings" and in this scene one of the brave, pioneering bobsledders needs to go to the bathroom, but they have to run a trial heat instead. At the end of said trial heat, this classic exchange occurs and sports movies would never be the same.

Derice Bannock: Hey, you can pee now.
Sanka Coffie: Um... too late.

Oh Dear God, how could I forget "GET HIM A BODY BAG, TEE HEE HEE!" from the Karate Kid

Aw, dry those eyes. I am going home to grab a shower and a shave, give the wife a little pickle-tickle.

Heroes get remembered, but legends never die. Follow your heart, kid, and you'll never go wrong.

anything from Cool Runnings.

Coach Dan Devine: "You're an All-American and our Captain. Act like it."

Ron Steele: "I believe I am, Sir."

anything from Caddyshack

And from Bull Durham:
"You lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you? -- Lollygaggers!

I'm with Rob. Rudy sucked.

“And you know Steve you get the feeling that Billy Chapel isn't pitching against left handers, he isn't pitching against pinch hitters, he isn't pitching against the Yankees. He's pitching against time. He's pitching against the future, against age, and even when you think about his career, against ending. And tonight I think he might be able to use that aching old arm one more time to push the sun back up in the sky and give us one more day of summer. ”
