in theory yes. But I never seem to heat them up and eat them again.

I like that feeling of pleasant surprise when you realize that a meal is already taken care of b/c you have leftovers.

Chinese food, mac and cheese, and thanksgiving make the best leftovers.

Leftovers are totally underrated. (I actually feel veery strongly about this!) Sure, they may not be as good as the first day, but they are still d*mn good. It is just like how four-day work weeks are underrated. Everyone loves the three-day weekend, but never fully appreciate the four-day work week that coincides with it.

I live for leftovers, particularly after major holidays. Nothing better than a next-day Turkey sandwich with stuffing, mayo, cranberry sauce, and a side of mashed potatos.

P.S. - I find this poignant: "We know the future will outlast all of us, but I believe that all of us will live on in the future we make" - Sen. Edward M. Kennedy

I hated leftovers as a kid, but selectively eat leftovers as an adult. Usually it's something I've cooked that I eat for lunch the following day.

Erin's right, though. Thanksgiving leftovers are the best.

I'm a huge fan of leftovers, not just for the convenience factor, but it also gives me a chance to get creative with them...make something a little different with what I've already got made. And, like the rest of you, I can't think of a better meal than that turkey sandwich the day after Thanksgiving, with mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce all over it. Mmmmm...

food that involves only 30 seconds in the microwave to prepare? um...yeah. if leftovers weren't an option i'd cook even less than i already do. if i'm turning on my stove, i better get at least two meals out of it.

I freaking love leftovers! I have the most delicious leftovers for lunch today. They're great for lunches, dinners, snacks, etc. I don't know if I like one type of leftover more than another but like others I definitely partake of Thanksgiving leftovers. We usually eat early (around 1:00p) which means I hit up leftovers at around 8:00p. Awesome.

And sometimes stuff tastes better the second day like Chinese food and pad thai.

why yes, yes i do. i like to eat little portions all day long, so leftovers are my best friend.

PS - so sad about Kennedy. But like my great uncle said at my grandfather's wake, 77 years is a blessing.

Kennedy said it best himself, eulogizing his brother, Robert, "My brother need not be idealized, or enlarged in death beyond what he was in life; to be remembered simply as a good and decent man, who saw wrong and tried to right it, saw suffering and tried to heal it, saw war and tried to stop it."

I love leftovers because it saves money!

P.S. "Senator Kennedy is the greatest Senator in history."

Teddy, he was like the leftover Kennedy.

Kidding, though last night for some weird reason on youtube I was watching an old JFK clip. Crazy to think if RFK and JFK were alive today they'd be in their mid 80's or early 90's respectively. MLK, well if he were alive today he'd would be only 80! We should be lucky we got to have Teddy for as long as we did.
