What is the most refreshing beer and/or cocktail when you're really thirsty on a hot summer day?

Ain't nothin' wrong with Corona in the sun.

And there's something to be said for a nice chilly, not too slushy, very strong margarita with a heavy float of Grand Marnier.

i concur on the margarita. beer-wise, hot days are the one time when i really love to down some domestic light beer.

Beerwise, Corona is refreshing because it's like water. Cocktail wise, I'm partial to anything with rum, such as rum and pineapple juice.

I have recently enjoyed a Yuengling a great deal on a hot day. It is my new favorite refreshing beer.

But nothing is better than a frozen margarita when it's hot. A margarita makes any gathering feel like a party.

i am completely agreeing with Scottie, in particular with the GM floater - only way to drink a marg. Also, adding MOJITO to the mix. No beer for me.

Iced tea flavored vodka and lemonade. Firefly is alright, but there is another brand that i can't remember the name of that's better. But before I discovered that, i would have said frozen strawberry margarita.

For beer, any light beer will do; having it ice-cold is the key.

Cocktail wise, My go to is either an Orange Crush or a Gin and Grapefruit. Nectar of the Gods, I tell you;.

I basically agree with Leslie's answer 100% (though, I also like my margarita's on the rocks).

i drank quite a few Coronas while on vacation, but i definitely associate it with the beach, so its not my go to anywhere else.

I will pass on the Corona and grab a Sol any day. OR. I will ride my bike to the beach bar in Asbury Park and drink a dirty pina colada while sitting on a outdoor bed right on the sand.

For beer - an Oberon or a Two Hearted.

For cocktails - a bloody mary or a rocks margarita made with actual lime juice instead of Rose's & of course with salt!

summer brew - lemonade concentrate, light beer, vodka.

During the heat of the summer, nothing is as refreshing to me as a ice cold Tom Collins.
