What is the best prank you've been a victim or perpetrator of?

I didn't make the Hill's Annual 50 Most Beautiful list this year. Vicious prank, world!

Last weekend saw my buddy who got engaged (i.e. the one i needed engagement ideas for). I stole his blackberry and emailed some college friends that he and his new fiance were going to be on a break.

My buddy didn't rat me out when he found out because he claimed "no one will believe this, they'll know it came from you." They believed. Dozens of calls and text messages, apparently tears were shed by my buddy's wife. Once we decided to let them know it was a joke they moved very quickl from relief to anger.

in college, my best friend mushed cookie crumbs in my bed. So I stole all of her underwear and put it in the freezer. She stole my clothing out of the shower in our co-ed dorm, and I had to use a shower curtain to get to my room. I called a truce.

My brother told me that he got his girlfriend pregnant when they were juniors in college. It was April Fools day, but I was so sure this could actually happen that I didn't put 2 and 2 together.

Just yesterday, my brother IM'ed me that the Redskins' best linebacker tore his ACL on the first drill of training camp yesterday. That was the "best" in the sense of "most gut-wrenchingly effective."

When I was a child, my parents would play jokes on the other neighborhood parents and vice versa. One time we sold someone's house and cars for $10 while they were out of town. Another time, we put an old toilet with a christmas tree in it on someone's front lawn. They retaliated with a pig head on a stake in our front yard. Those were fun times (sigh).

In college, my bf at the time pretended that he sprained his ankle and I helped him and fetched stuff for him for a week. Then one day we were walking back from dinner and he just prances away. He also liked to pretend to be a tennis instructor and hair dresser too.

In college, my gf called me on April Fools day and told me she was pregnant. The first thing I remember thinking was It's April Fools Day. The second thing I thought was if I call her out on trying to trick me and it is real I will burn in hell for all eternity. We talked for about a minute and then she said her mom was on the other line and she had to go. Another one of my friends called me back about five minutes later and told me it was a joke. Obv I had no retaliation for the gf so I called Cate and played the same trick on her. Cate got me back by telling our mom the story which led to some awkward conversations the next time I was home.

I once faked an eye injury and told a stripper that she smelled nice for a free lap dance.
