16 - it really was Sweet.
18 - I like to play the lottery.
18. The summer after senior year was pretty sweet.
I think I'd be 10. Laughing at farts as a ten year old is far more socially acceptable than as a 30 year old. Plus I believe that was fourth grade (is that correct?) we read the best books in fourth grade.
18. Want to get it over with as quickly as possible.
7. you've learned the important lessons of first grade but are still not expected to feed or clothe yourself. and the cliques didn't form until like third grade, so i didn't realize i was going to be dubbed a loser/nerd yet. a simpler time.
8, back when a war with my GI Joe guys or building a Robin Hood village with my legos were both an honest day's work...and when GI Joe invaded those migit Robin Hood legos...forget about it. Serpentor was the new king of the village, Destro had with way with Maid Marriane.
I would hardly call a 17-year-old Dylan McKay a kid...
probably 10; I spent part of the summer with my aunt and uncle. Every day, either my aunt, who managed a bowling alley, took me to work with her where I got to bowl and eat for free at the snack bar; my uncle took me horseback riding or to the racetrack; and my cousin took me swimming. At night we went to the officer's club at the air force base and played poker and I got to drink cherry cokes.
Kelly, I don't know who you are...but that sounds easily like the best summer ever. I'm trading my 8 for Kelly's 10.
7. innocence. ahhhh.....
6 or 7. I could still fit into my Supergirl costume then.
I also want to trade my fart-laughing 10 for Kelly's 10. In retrospect, I spent that summer swimming my ass off. That was the year I went to Zones, oh to peak as an athlete at 10...
If I had to, I'd do it all over again.
Leslie--my athletic streak peaked at 11! I was one of the best swimmers in my league up until I got hips. And then no amount of hard work was going to counteract nature, so I resigned myself to being mediocre and just having fun.If I could go back, I would probably be 13 or 14. Freshman year of high school was awesome.
I'm with Beth. At 11, I still thought I was going to be a Major League Baseball Player, NBA Player and the Karate Kid. So yeah....11.
Oh and I forgot to add, when I say my cousin took me swimming, we were trespassing at hotel pools. If we got caught, which we did several times, we just went to another pool (after a stop at McDonald's).It was the best summer ever..My parents never understood why I cried all the way home.
I'd be 1. Having someone willingly clean up your puke and wiping your butt for you sounds pretty sweet.
