Most: People laughing, especially babies. (I know, probably hard to believe.)

Least: A dumpster being emptied into a garbage truck. (Too many mornings being awakened by this sound in Hawaii.)

least favorite: the thump of an unbalanced washing machine; as it gets louder and louder, my mind just fills with panic

I'm with Leslie on people laughing. It makes me happy that other people are happy.

My least favorite sound is nails on a chalkboard (and any similar sound).

Least: squeaking styrofoam.
Most: A genuine, medium-pitched laugh. Good idea, Leslie. And welcome to the 30 club! It's just like the late 20's, except college kids will treat you differently. For example, my intern called me old to my face.

The sound of moving water (waves, rain, etc.) is one of my favorites. I'm also with Tamika and Leslie on the sound of laughter. Babies laughing will always put a smile on my face.

The jackhammer outside of my window at 7am on a Saturday morning is my least favorite sound.

i love the sound of old timey analog train schedule boards when the times change and the little plates clap. last time i was in the philly train station they still had one.

i'm really starting to hate the sound of a long island conversation.

Favorite sound is the ocean. It kind of reminds me of my childhood summers at the beach.

Least favorite is a CD skipping. Makes me crazy.

Did James Lipton from Inside the Actor's Studio submit this question? Should we just take a week and run through all the questions he stole from that guy and asks at the end of the show?

Least: The terrible amateur band that rehearses across the street from me on Sunday afternoon. It's mostly yelling and drums.

Most: D.C. between 3-7 a.m. Ironically, my favorite sound is that there is virtually no sound at all. I love that the District really does sleep, and walking or biking somewhere at 5 a.m. is a test in how few people and cars you see outside.

this is totes an inside the actor's studio question and every actress says laughter.

fav: sound of a light breeze and ice cream truck music.

least fav: white noise, the sound of hearing a watch or bracelets touching a surface (especially when you're at work or taking a test), the sound of shoes squeaking and people dragging their feet.
