Women who wear heels while commuting to work immediately after an ice storm. Thoughts?

I am still mad at the girl I saw wearing heels, gripping her boyfriend's arm for dear life. She had on a backpack! Why weren't her heels in there, like a normal person? I am still mad at her! Should I have gone back and yelled at her? Fireman carried her to work? Gaaaaa! it is ICE, lady!
that is all.

Totally hot. There's just something attractive about a woman precariously balancing on a square-inch of shoe surface while walking on a sidewalk. Rawwwwwwwwwwwr.

I am one of the most inappropriately dressed ladies out there, and i wouldn't even wear heels today!!!

Ridiculous. You completely negate anything approaching attractive when you can't even walk. Pride goeth before the fall.

Completely unendearing stupidity.

Just as a clarification, I was being totally sarcastic. I'm a firm believer in Darwin, so a woman in feels falling down while on ice is just natural selection at its best.

It's ridiculous. I saw a woman at my ice-covered bus stop this morning and I kinda wanted her to fall. Sometimes you gotta learn the hard way.

I think that women commuting in heels is ridiculous in and of itself. They always walk so slowly and obliviously down the Metro escalators, making me late for work. Women suck. I'm sticking to men.

P.S. - totes LMAO at Martin's response. HA HA HA HA HA

I don't see the problem. I had no problem getting to work in my heels today.

Sexy, although if I had my druthers I prefer big platform clogs.

I just wanted to say/type druthers.

Hey, today seemed like a good day to break an ankle, OK? Who are we to question slaves of fashion?

i think these women are suicidal. as such, it is our duty as decent people (well, most of us anyway) to suggest they seek professional help before going to such extremes.

Admirable but dumb. I decided to slum it up today and wore pumas. Go ahead and fire me.
