I kinda love those t-shirts with the massive picture of the face of a wolf/lion/other threatening animal on them. What else screams, "Don't fuck with me because I have a wolf on my shirt" better than that?
i'm torn about this because in principle i think it's completely ridiculous and excessive, yet another example of our out of control consumer culture.
but i have to admit, i've dabbled. i took pictures of coltrane trying on a doggy down coat with the fur lined hood and everything. and ninja has a skull and crossbones tee shirt. both cute and freaking hilarious.
definitely creepy, the poor animal, though i do put a sweater on my beagle when it's super cold...she shivers dramatically... but not as creepy as talking animals in movies when their lips are moving...i hate that.
Yesterday night, I saw a little white bichon in a navy puffy coat with a fur-rimmed hood. I have to admit, it was kind of adorable. And the little guy looked warmer than I was...
My mom puts my dog in a coat when in snows. She claims that he hates the snow. Also he's 5 pounds, so keeping him warm is kinda important. That said, I find it super creepy when people put their pets in shoes--it's just wrong.
I've definitely put political tshirts on Keira and I swear she likes them or at least she doesn't hate them. I do think she likes her gold medal from the time of the Olympics. She used to sleep in it and I would laugh when it hit each individual stair as she went up the staircase.

Ridiculous, creepy, cruel, you name it. The animals themselves hate wearing those things so don't torture them.

cute or creepy or freaking hilarious... it depends on the intentions of the person putting the clothes on the critter.
totally depends on the context. Like, when you see someone who's dressed up their pet and it's obvious they're substituting for a child: creepy.
