What is your middle name? And do you have any feelings about it? Love it? Hate it? Totally indifferent about it?

William. I like it. It makes me sound dignified... Robert William Judd

Joelle. Making my initials BJ. Yep, I pretty much hate it.

McNewton, I hated it growing up but I have embraced it.

It's Christine. Dullsville.

I don't mind my middle name, it's short. Ann. My whole name is 13 letters. But I still kind of wish my parents had gone with the first name they picked out for me. Ann Elizabeth, then I could be Ann E. Hall and wear ties and hats like Diane Keaton.

Joel. It's just fine.

Danger. j/k

Michael...it's solid. I don't mind it at all.

John. Very plain, but I like the reasoning behind it. My dad and his brother agreed to use each other's first names as their firstborn's middle names.

William. I am the only one of my siblings who does not have someone's maiden name as my middle name. So while it is boring, it makes me unique.

Verity... and truthfully ;-) I love it.

I'm Kate Irene. I have a few people that actually call me that in my life. I like it because Irene was my boot-legging, diner owning, irish great grandmother.

cate told me i should answer this one. probably bc she is mad jealous of my sweetass middle name:

harte. i used to hate it bc classmates would replace it with gross organs (kids are so witty) but now i like it bc before i spell it out people think my parents are freaky hippies. i also like it because it's a namesake and i get a lot of family heirlooms out of it someday.

Anne. I like it fine, even though it seems to be the middle name of every third girl in America. I think it's fun because (if I use my nickname) my initials are BAD. I do feel slightly cheated in the family heritage department, my great grandma was Helen Mary my grandma was Mary Helen, my mom is Helen Mary and I'm...Elizabeth Anne.

Patrick. Like it because it's the most irish part of my name, is my Dad's middle name (which he actually goes by over his first name), and MOST IMPORTANTLY (are you listening Beenu?) no one would confuse John Patrick Norris for an MTV personality.

I have two middle names, which is pretty much ridiculous. Anyway, they are LaShau Niccole. My mom and aunt thought it'd be cute for my cousin and me to have the same middle name, and then mom had to go add another one.

I was totally confused when filling in my middle initial on the bubble sheets in school, but now I kinda like having 4 names.

Terese. Its a family name on both sides. On my mom's side, Teresa was her great aunt, the sister of her grandmother. She was a hip lady. She was born in 1900, and went to college at Cooper Union. She was an illustrator and a painter, and she never got married, but when her sister died, she raised her 3 sons (including my grandpa). She also made pasta from scratch and used a gaint mound of flour as her mixing bowl.

So I'm ok that I sound like a nun with the name Catherine Terese because Teresa was a badass, Italian feminist.

Scott: It's simple and I don't mind it. I actually don't understand why people have issues w/ their middle names.

My grandmother is Kathryn Genevieve, my mom is Mary Kathryn and I'm Kathryn Mary.

Patrick. I like it because it drives home my Irish heritage. Michael Patrick Gormley. Although apparently we are traitors because we dropped the O in O'Gormley.

Don't mean to violate separation of church and qotd or step on Leslie's toes but what about confirmation names?

I always thought it would be funny to take Lucifer but mine is Joseph.

Mine is Livingston. It's my grandma's maiden name. Love it now, but as a kid it was more clunky and weird.

One of my teachers in middle school told me it sounded presidential, which I thought was super-cool at the time but later realized was actually pretty racist. Why's presidential gotta mean WASPy, ya know?

ugh i'm scouring the internets for the real john norris' middle name. not the fake one on QOTD.
