Seriously? People remember the bathrooms they have visited?

i can't remember a memorable one...but i hate the ones at bars with all the products you can use and the woman that wants money for handing you a paper towel. and no i do not want a spray of JLo's perfume or some nasty used Bonne Bell lip gloss.

I remember the truck stop bathroom on the way to Vegas where Danny Devito and I consummated our love. Don't underestimate midgets in a public restroom ladies.

there was one that instead of mirrors they had little video cameras staring up at you and then projected where a mirror would have been. it was a weird because there was a split second delay between when you moved and when you saw yourself move. add to that being pretty tanked, and it sort of felt like you're watching yourself in past tense...

I worked in a restaurant for a little bit and we weren't allowed to eat in the kitchen. If I was working a double shift, I would be starving by evening and would sneak a roll into my apron pocket and go eat it in the bathroom. So that's pretty memorable, and, according to my friend Tom, pretty sad.

I've never been in this bathroom, but my coworker just came back from South Africa and had a bathroom story. The bathrooms in her hotel had (what were supposed to be) translucent partitions, so everyone could see you.

It seems this question has uncovered a difference between the genders... do women remember bathrooms and men don't?

Anyway, I usually remember bathrooms. Like, the bathroom at the Neiman Marcus in Honolulu is wicked nice. The bathroom at Dan's Cafe is gross. The bathroom at my salon has actual towels in this cool orange thing rather than paper towels. The bathroom at the country club I visited for the PVA golf tournament last week was bigger than any apartment I had in Hawaii. (But that isn't much of an achievement.)

But, most recently, the bathroom at PROOF. This bathroom is intriguing. Imagine if the Pussycat Dolls had an airplane and that plane was in the Matrix, but the color black was replaced with chrome. The bathroom in PROOF would be in that plane.

Wow, I can't believe I just wrote that much about public restrooms. I need to get a life. Or a hobby.

My cousin and I would check out every bathroom wherever we went. Yeah, weird. In general, I like bathrooms with full walls and doors instead of stalls and free tampons. Those are always a bonus. One of the coolest bathrooms I've been in is in Chelsea (Brite?) where when you go into the bathroom and shut/lock the door, the wall goes from see through to opaque.

Cafe Asia's bathroom came to mind for me too.

Um, insert "when we were little" (meaning til we left for college) before "my cousin and i." oops.

I went to a Ween show in Chicago several years ago, and it was pouring. The portapotties were on a little bit of a hill and the back of the hill gave out from the rain and two of them turned over. Only one of them was occupied but for that dude it was a nightmare. crap, piss, blood... oh dear lord. I laughed so hard at the guy I couldn't catch my breath.

And there was a bathroom in my suite in at the Venician in Vegas that was bigger than any other bathroom I've ever seen. It had three rooms. so amazing. My only regret is that I didn't have to shit more than I did.
