WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? I go post haste today to the fabulous city! What is not to love? A stroll in the park? Bagels on the upper west side, browsing through the MoMa, then afternoon dessert at Serendipity or cupcakes at Magnolia. I HEART NYC.

The anonymity of my celebrity. It's so hard being as famous as Jackie O.

the noise, excitement, restaurants, parks, the hudson and east rivers, the interesting people, museums, bars that are open until 4am, the ease of getting a cab, even my homeless neighbors! autumn in new york is especially enchanting.
ny is a state, not a district for a reason my friends...

oh, and i heart evan!

Oh man . . . black and white cookies from Nussbaum & Wu's on 113 St. Getting brunch with my friend Paul at any random sidewalk cafe in the LES. Drinks basically anywhere. Miss Jones in the Morning on Hot 97. I love NY!!

The fact that the D'backs, Angels, Marlins, White Sox, Red Sox (twice) and Cardinals have won the World Series since the last time the Yankees did.

And...Isiah Thomas.

panchito's pitchers of margaritas (according to the menu it is one of the six best margaritas in NY [which obviously means that it is the sixth best margarita in NY...]), freestyling with and/or being proposed to by homeless people at 4am, shopping for beads in seemingly abandoned chinatown buildings, karaoke at sing sing, summertime in prospect park (and park slope in general), the fact that every cell phone conversation you overhear will include a manhattan intersection, subway sermons, paper bagging beer in public, chelsea piers, pretending not to notice celebrities, st. marks skateboarders...

aww, i guess i like it here. thanks leslie!
