What was your favorite early childhood toy?

I really didn't have one favorite toy per se. He-Man action figures with the Castle Greyskull set. (How prophetic).

Matchbox cars, definitely loved them too.

Hand painted wooden ball-in-a-cup, Mexico's favorite toy for over 340 years! Who needs constant video game stimulation when theres ball-in-a-cup? You just toss the ball, catch it in the cup, dump it out of the cup, toss it, and catch it in the cup again. The ball is on a string and attached to the cup, so theres no worry if you dont catch the ball in the cup. And clean up is as easy as catching a ball, in a cup! So why spend another day not catching a ball in a cup when you can be catching a ball-in-a-cup?

Favorite baby toy - a blue stuffed bunny with a white belly. Its head fell off and my mom threw it out. I still have yet to forgive her.

After that, my Fischer-Price microscope/slide set and doctor's case, then all my sweet spy gear, including a fingerprinting kit.

my doll, beans. she was basically a beanbag dressed in pink pajamas with a head. i dragged her around everywhere, so much in fact that her original hands came off and my grandmother had to make her new hands using my old socks. beans is still around - she's actually sitting on my bed right now.

I saw a little girl at Studio Theater playing with a pink toy cell phone that lit up and made noise. Seriously, a toy cell phone? I did not have a toy cell phone. I had a wooden duck on a string and when you pulled it the wings or wheels or whatever they were would spin in circles. And I loved it! Also, I liked my glow-worm, legos and my rockin' blue sit 'n spin. Why is it fun to just spin in a circle when you're little?

my teddy bear, aptly named, "Teddy". Then came the playschool doctor set - perv from the get go I guess. Then my big wheel - which I got hit by not one but two cars while riding. then Meth.

Mine was my Holly Hobby doll for two reasons
1st and most importantly when you pulled her braids her eyes moved from side to side, they looked to the braid you were pulling. And
2nd because she matched my yellow Holly Hobby bedspread

I had a Puffalump. A dirty, nasty, gray Puffalump that started out pale pink

Father Christmas once gave me a DR Who tardis tent. Dr Who is a dorky sci fi program made by the BBC in the 60's-90's and involves all kinds of bad make up and special fx. A tardis is like a portapotyy loo for Policeman who were on the watch for crime. But DR Who had a special blue tardis which involved time travel and was huge inside. My tent was not huge and made of plastic. I slept in the tardis every night curled up into a bizarre phoetal position for a year. I cried the day my slightly larger sister crushed the plastic frame. I have never forgiven her and enter a slight rage whenever it is mentioned.

Duh, my GI Joe characters (and they did naughty things to each other under the sheets)!
