What was the best thing you've ever found while cleaning that you thought was lost forever?

First off, for yesterday's question, I'd like to be introduced with the theme for Magnum PI.

For today's question, when I moved out to DC I was digging through some boxes in my folks basement and found a comic book that my friend Dan Swan and I wrote/drew in 7th grade. It was about to middle schoolers that got laid during lunch. We had simple dreams back then.

I found my car ice scraper in the attic last night, which is excellent because I have been looking for it since November and now I no longer need it. Great timing, Leslie. But I wasn't cleaning.

Oh, and I also found a Coors Light can this morning that I can only imagine is from the kegs and eggs. Why do drunk people hide beers?

It was around three years ago I was rifling through some valued belongings I store at my parents house which my mother, with cigar in mouth, had screamed at me to "get rid of that crap!" Within a soggy cardboard box amongst my AHA cd's and a Teletubby mask I got one birthday (Tinky Winky-frightening) lo and behold I found a diamond in the rough, a gem in a pile of shit, a rose in the mouth of a minger: it was my Beverly Hills 90210 Pilot Video. The very first episode complete with Brandons mullet and Mauxwell Caulfield who date rapes Brenda. A treasure!
