What shoes do you wear to commute to work?

The only time there is a difference between my work shoes and my commute shoes is when it's raining and I wear my whale boots. Other than that- if I'm going to wear pointy heels to work, I'm damn sure to be wearing them on the metro! Don't get me STARTED on white reeboks/avias with nude pantyhose and white ankle length athletic socks!!!

I highly support the "Working Girl" look. I think that if women wore sneakers more frequently, they might walk faster down the long Metro escalator instead of purposely trying to make me late for work. It's one thing to insist on walking down the middle of the escalator. It's another to do so in a snail's pace in 3" heels.

I personally wear shoes that match my belt and watch.

I fully support the matching of shoes to belt and watch...I'm actually a little obsessive about that. As far as the Working Girl look, I'm only into it if massive linebacker shoulder pads and gallons of Aqua Net are involved.

I drive to work and hate driving in heels so I put on flats or uggs if its cold.

but if i did commute on the T i would definitely rock sneakers. probably my allstars.

This month, I alternate between Puma and Saucony. Trust me, next month, I will have a new set of pumps!
