Yes as is other family. I've since mastered the art of creating groups and changing permission for those groups. Parents can't see much on FB anymore. Brilliant!
My mom, who will be 83 soon, is on. She looks at pictures makes an occasional random comment about something she's seen.
As a parent, I recently ditched my "special" account and added my teenage kids as friends. They were friends w/my friends already. They don't complain about me much but can't stand their father's tendency to like every post immediately.
