i'm jealous of erin's 10th birthday party. my most memorable was my 12th birthday party for this reason: my friend gave me a poster of jason priestly for my birthday. i lovingly laid it out on the floor next to my bed when i went to sleep. then i woke up in the middle of the night sick and threw up all over it. i cried.
My 6th birthday is the one that I remember the most because my mother hosted everyone in our kindergarten class. She had like thirty 5-6 year olds running around her house for an entire afternoon. I feel that this drove her to her affinity for magnum bottles of chardonnay.
I can't remember how old I was, but in elementary school I had a birthday party where my folks took a bunch of us out to dinner and then let us run around in this big fountain. My friends still talked about that one when we were in high school.

For my 10th, my parents set up our house as a clue board and all of my friends and I were the different characters. It was really cool.
Turning 8 years old. We played musical chairs and Jaime whatshername sat on my lap.

I was a really good kid, except on my birthday. All day I would yell "I'm the boss!!!" at random intervals.
