This needs a ruling. By "one alcoholic beverage", does this mean "Wine" or does it mean "Joseph Phelps 2004 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon"? Similarly, does this mean "Whiskey"? Or does it mean "Jack Daniel's"? Or does it mean "Jack Daniel's Manhattans"
Ahhhh, who am I kidding? The choice is obviously Natty Boh.
This is the most difficult QOTD ever. I think I would miss Bloody Marys the most. But there are so many venues where drinking a Bloody Mary is totally inappropriate.

Gin Martini up, so dry that the vermouth is only swirled in the bottom and then poured out with 3 olives.
Gin and tonic because tonic has quinine which helps with combatting yellowfever which is crucial for any DC summer
red wine!

So I'm going to go with champagne/cava/prosecco.
JAMESON on the rocks.
could i just say whiskey drinks?
If I have to be ultra-specific, I'll say Belvedere and diet tonic. If I can be more general, I'll say red wine.
Johnnie Blue...All day long.
Wow, this is a seriously tough QOTD! Can I just say red wine? Or maybe vodka? No, red wine it is.
