I like rose gold for a fun non-engagement ring. Could be cool as engagement too.
I also have a white gold diamond ring. My grandma designed the setting and used her mother's engagement stone. She gave it to my mother for her college graduation and I got it for mine. It's probably my most prized possession.
I had a meeting with a guy who had a rose gold watch that looked almost like it was made of copper....absolutely pimp. For rings though, I would go white gold...quite classy

dunno, which one has the most blood per diamond? that's usually the best measure of a ring, right?
There is a time and place for all three, but I'd say rose, white, yellow - in rank order.
