Toss-up between Pearl Jam and the very first hip-hop one where LL screams into two mics and causes a ridiculous amount of feedback. Both of those episodes blew my effing mind.
Honorable mention to Alice in Chains...that's probably the best Unplugged album that was released.
I'm going to go ahead and say Kurt Cobain, not because he's an amazing musician but because we didn't have cable growing up and it was the only episode I ever saw....lame.
I looked up a full list of Unplugged performances to refresh my memory and did ya'll know that Nickelback and Katy Perry have done episodes? That network is disgusting.
Agreed. Alice in Chains. No Contest. Half way through the show when the band comments 'This is the best show we have done in years' to which the drummer replies, 'This is the only show we have done in years' just added to the drama.
