i used to wholeheartedly agree with leslie - and do the five guys.
now, hmmmm. probably slice and dice pizza. though - it's a bit of a mix cause the slice and dice is a mile walk and the other lunch options are very close. is it still a guilty pleasure if i have to walk 2 miles to get it?
french fries with or without grilled cheese, depending on how rough my day is. but definitely the fries. they know me enough now that when i walk in they just hand me fries and don't make me take a number.
I work at Fort Totten, where the only option is a KFC/Taco Bell hybrid. I refuse to go there, so I go to the Exxon across the street and get a Mountain Dew Code Red--which I did yesterday.
I work in Ballston, so I have every single guilty pleasure of chain restaurant lunches available to me (except Five Guys and Wendy's, which I can drive to in Courthouse). My top picks would be Chipotle, Big Buns, Noodles & Co or Panera.
When I used to work in Alexandria, my guilty pleasure of choice was Vaso's Kitchen. That place could cheer me up every time. I would get the Greek platter, which was a bed or tomatoes, with half a pound of gyro meat, french fries, hummus, and the entire platter was covered in feta cheese. OMG! I need to go.
ummm...well it used to be a philly cheesesteak in the basement cafeteria of my building (dont judge)...but they stopped serving them...oh the humanity!!
I say go big or go home. I rally a crew for all you can eat sushi. Horrible for work ethic as you are in a food coma the rest of the afternoon, but its soooo yummy!

The Cosi on the corner.
Baby seal!!
I never bring my lunch. That would require 10 whole minutes that could be better spent sleeping or watching Meredith on The Today Show.
But, my guilty pleasure now is Chicken Out. Before it was a cheeseburger from Clyde's.
I was 3 deep dish slices at Armand's (near Science Club), then they changed to Zia, and now it's no longer there.
I miss my walkable deep dish. I might have to get healthy.
Five Guys
french fries from the deli across the street
Tuna wrap from the cafe downstairs. I work in the burbs so there is nothing fun around me :(

Spice Express! Seriously, I am addicted to that place. I block out of my head how much butter the dude said he put in the lentils...

either a reuben or grilled cheese w/ tomato and bacon. mmm, grease.
I'm with Leslie. Five Guys is the way to go. Especially if I'm hung over.
