As for toppings, I normally do ketchup mayo cheese on one, mustard relish on the other. If it's 3am and I'm @ five guys, then its everything all together.
okay...so i like a tofu dog with LOTS of toppings including sweet relish, ketchup, NEVER mustard, and very crispy bacon bits. russian dressing if i'm in the mood. bun must be a potato roll.
I think the last time I had a hot dog I was about 12 years old so it was just ketchup back then. I don't really like veggie dogs (I would rather eat vegetables than something pretending to be meat) but if I were to eat one it would probably be topped with some kind of ketchup/mustard/onions/relish combo.
I know Dan gets hot dogs at 5 Guys sometimes, he seems to enjoy them.
I'm all over the map here. If I'm getting a dog at the ballpark, I'm all about just mustard and onions. I do love a Chicago dog. I'm with David on this...I love mayo on a hot dog as well. But honestly, you can't go wrong with a good chili cheese dog or a bacon wrapped dog smothered in brown mustard and grilled onions. Why did LA have to ban those??? BOO!!!

I'll get this party started. The Chicago dog was an interesting novelty, but for the few hot dogs I eat, it's usually mustard and relish ;-)
mayo.....gross, i know. but i loves it.
Ketchup and Red Pepper Relish
At a ballpark: ketchup, mustard & relish.
At Nats park: ketchup, mustard, relish & onions because I love those relish and onion machines.
At home: ketchup and mustard. (Yes, I am a 12 year old and eat hot dogs for dinner quite often.)
Diced Onions or hot relish.
just ketchup. i am a woman of simple tastes. plus mustard is gross.
Oh no - "mustard is gross" - Bruce is shaking his head at that comment...
Chili...easiest QOTD ever.
What the sh*t is a veggie dog?

I just discovered that Five Guys has hot dogs, which kind of inspired this question. Has anyone had them? Are they good?

garbage plate sauce. coach tony's.
i'm pretty sure everyone knows my answer.... mustard.
I have not had a Five Guys dog and would like to give it a try.
I love Chicago style all the way. The secret's in the celery salt.
5 Guys dogs are pretty scrumptious, but nothing beats a properly apportioned Chicago dog. Tomorrow's QOTD - "did you have a hot dog yesterday?"
