I dunno, not a dog, but this does give me an excuse to bitch about the new dog park on 17th and New Hampshire.
Only 2 houses seperate me from that park. From about dawn to dusk I hear the sounds of about a 2dozen dogs barking out my window, and it's not just playful barking...but like Michael Vick is in the dog park barking.
It's far better than leaving the dog shit in your front lawn. & let's face it, who wants to carry a plastic bag full of dog shit with them for more than say, five steps? Actually, at all?
It's not like the owners of the trash cans are pulling them into the living room for the week until trash day. They are relegated to a back alley which was stinky from the get go...
This was not a confession, but I have thought about it so as not to have to carry a large bag of poop the entire walk. But having a Great Dane, I think it would be especially rude and unneighborly, although not as rude as not picking up your dog's poop at all.
Haha, Rob, I thought the same thing. I take the view that it's only wrong if you get caught. That said, it isn't right. Why not throw it away in the public bins on the street?

I think it's wrong. A lot of people keep their trash cans in their sheds or garages, and I wouldn't want my garage smelling like doggy doo.

in an urban setting, i don't think it is so bad... but in a suburban neighborhood, i could see this creating big problems.
