Like Tim, single songs are a waste of my time. The last 3 albums I actually downloaded (not including bit torrent) were Wheat (White Ink Black Ink), Chris Wollard and the Ship Thieves, and Final Fantasy (Spectrum, 14th Century EP)
I don't have access to my computer, so I'll go with what my bro has on his. He got an Eddie Izzard comedy album, the new Patton Oswalt comedy CD, and a band called UNKLE.
i also stream more than i download but once in a while i break down and purchase. the last song i downloaded was East Hundred "slow burning crimes" and then i sucked it up and downloaded phoenix's new album. and i don't like it, yea, that's right rob judd! alphabetical is wayyyy better.
Last 3 downloads: OK Computer by Radiohead (months ago...replaced a lost CD) Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg (replaced a tape...yes, really) Make Her Say by Kid Cudi feat. Kanye West and Common (one of the very few single songs worth downloading)

you don't want to know....and i don't want to tell you!
Sea of Love - Cat Power
(K8 recommendation)
Melody - Kate Earl
(Free iTunes download)
6 Underground - Chilled Ibiza Classics: Classic Balearic Lounge
(Empire Records inspiration via Pandora)
I usually deal in full albums, so ... the latest Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Graveyard and...The Silversun Pickups.
i don't download music that often, so the last thing i got from iTunes was the MJ Essential Collection

The 500 days of summer soundtrack. Zooey covering Smiths? Can't go wrong.
Sea of Love by Cat Power is a great song. I Heart Cat Power.
That said...
I went with some smooth grooves recently:
I Keep Forgettin' by Michael McDonald
Maneater by Hall and Oates
Out of Touch by Hall and Oates
Most recently I downloaded 3 albums: Wilco, the 500 days of Summer Soundtrack and Songs in the Key of Life.
All my rowdy friends have settled down - Hank Williams, Jr.
Black or white - Michael Jackson (yes, after he died)
All I want for Christmas - Mariah Carey.
Shakira: She Wolf
Whitney Houston: Heartbreak Hotel (Hex Hector Remix)
Otis Redding: Try a Little Tenderness
I seem to just listen to stuff online, downloading takes too much effort. Most recently I've been listening to Kid Cudi, Brother Ali, & Kings of Leon.

I'm too lazy to download too, so I just stream: Cymbals Eat Guitars, Ratatat, and Owl City (for Tamika!)
I have changed the question to include album downloads. Better late than never...

Haven't been in the mood to download much lately but last albums were possibly:
P!nk - Funhouse; Supersuckers (she used to be pretty, now she's just pretty f*d up; The Fray or Green Day
