In college I made a CD with about 25 TV themes on it, and this CD was a crowd favorite on the porch. The best reaction came from the Disney-themed cartoons like Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, and Chip-n-Dales Rescue Rangers.
I always loved how The Cosby Show had a different variation of its theme song for each of its seasons, with the best one being the one where they dance with the Apollo in the backdrop.
+1 on the Cosby Show...they were all great until the last couple of seasons when Vanessa had that mushroom cloud afro thing goin' on.
Huge fan of the uber-cheeseball themes from ABC's TGIF lineup...you know, the Perfect Strangers/Full House/Family Matters trifecta. More than that, I loved it when the cheesy music started up in the last five minutes of the episode, you know, during the "Stephanie/DJ/Urkel/Balki/Cousin Larry Learns His/Her Lesson" segment. Always cracked me up.

Leslie, you beat me too it with The Facts of Life. My second place is Muppet Babies.
I know it's not 70's/80's, but Tiny Toon Adventures is the greatest theme song of all time.
Oh man, I used to *love* the them song to Ducktales! A-woo-oo! (Or however it went.)

Partidge Family. C'mon get happy!
Cheers.
I agree with Leslie on Fraggle Rock and Andrew on The Cosby Show. Two totally fun intros.
Also, I love the Golden Girls theme song. I would sing along when watching it with my grandma.
