Supergirl, Dirty Dancing, Ghostbusters...I realize they tried that whole Havana Nights thing and there's a sequel to GB coming out...They're going to remake Red Dawn too. Sigh.
Oh I'm adding my name to the John Hughes train. No remakes of Sixteen Candles or The Breakfast Club, please.
That being said, that episode of Dawson's Creek where they pretended to do an episode like The Breakfast Club was funny. However, that could have something to do with the reference to The Mighty Ducks and my tv crush on Joshua Jackson in the late 90s.
i'm super pissed about footloose, too. i might have to picket outside the theater somewhere. ferris bueller is another one i'd be enraged about.
I would also not want them to remake Breakfast Club or Gone with the Wind (the latter of which isn't so much from my childhood as the childhood of people born during the Depression, but it's a favorite).
it's actually hard for me to answer this question as I had a sheltered childhood. I would say Marry Poppins, there just no replacing Julie Andrews. Semi-related: I was super pissed as a young girl when I found out people other than Laura Ingalls Wilder were continuing to write "Little House" books. I was pretty obsessed with them as a child so this was like blasphemy. The ever changing authors and tone of the Nancy Drew books didn't bother me at all though.

The Dark Crystal...or anything by John Hughes
Ferris Bueller's Day Off. That was my favorite movie growing up.

+1 on the John Hughes tip. I might go on a killing spree if I heard that someone was remaking Ferris Bueller's Day Off or Sixteen Candles.
Back to the Future
I was pissed when I found out they were remaking Footloose. But I wasn't pissed when I found out they were remaking Fame. Go figure.
pretty in pink.
there will only ever be one duckie.

Every remake pisses me off. Hollywood is lazy.
The Goonies.
Labyrinth... No one could do justice to the role of the Goblin King unless that person's name is David Bowie.
I'm adding my voice to the chorus of people saying John Hughes movies...
Agree, John Hughes movies are sacred.
Also I don't think E.T. Shoukd ever be remade.

Karate Kid
AGREED. No John Hughes remakes, and def not Labyrinth!!
Good call on the Goonies. That was the 1st movie I ever saw in a movie theater.
If they remade Roadhouse I'd go all Daulton on someone's ass.
The Care Bear Movie
Oooo all good ones. Also E.T., but mostly because I HATE E.T. and I never want to have to be exposed to that ugly horrible creature again.

Goonies!
I heard they ARE remaking Karate Kid. With Will Smith's son as the star....
Karate Kid....and they are remaking it with Will Smith's son and Jackie Chan...ugh.
the Princess Bride...i'm pretty sure there are no good six fingered actors left in hollywood...
wait, can we say movies we DOOO want remade? can that be tomorrow's?
Because I would like to see Cruel Intentions remade with as many hot people as possible.
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Heathers. I will protest at any Regal if they remake that classic.
Newsies!
