Check out this clip from Rachel Maddow. Forward the clip to 8:40 seconds. When it hits 8:44 there is a noise. Is it a fart? A throat clearing? Something else? You tell us. There is a debate so your opinion counts.

HAHAHA! At first I couldn't hear it...you need to turn it up pretty loud...but you can see the guy take a deep breath and then there's a look of relief on his face...then Rachel laughs, and she's totally laughing at him! It's TOTALLY a fart.
I didn't hear it at first either.
If the ruling on the field was its a fart, I don't think there is enough evidence to say it is NOT a fart. Ruling on the field stands.
Definitely a fart. I laugh every time I hear it.
FART. It sounds like one. She made a "whoa, I just cut one on tv" laugh-suppressing grin, and immediately afterward laughed a little too much at a ho-hum joke. I don't think it meets the criminal "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard, but it definitely meets the civil law "preponderance of evidence" standard.
I so want that to be a fart, so I'll have to say...yes. Yes, that is a fart.
