-White Christmas -It's a Wonderful Life -Christmas Story -Love Actually -Elf -Miracle on 34th St. (Natalie Wood version)
also note i consider tv specials a separate category, so my list does not intentionally snub classics such as Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown or Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
Good call on the Lethal Weapon Leslie. I don't know about you, but everytime I hear "rockin around the christmas tree" I think of a coked-out hooker falling to her death.
*Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown *Love Actually *How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated) *It's a Wonderful Life *The Wizard of Oz (it comes on during the holidays every year, so I'm counting it)
I love all of the Lethal Weapon movies. And Die Hard. Also a great Christmas classic. I've never seen A Christmas story but I have seen Letha Weapon about 100 times thanks to my mom.
For anyone who hasn't seen Christmas Story, I highly recommend it, and it's on 24 hrs starting Christmas Eve on TBS. So it's easy to catch and it's more fun than actually, like, talking to your family and stuff.
I totes agree with A Christmas Story. I definitely want a Red Ryder carbine-action, two hundred shot Range Model air rifle with a compass in the stock and a thing which tells time and I don't care if I shoot my eye out.
A Christmas Story is probably my all-time favorite...best thing about Christmas Eve and Christmas Day after all the insanity has died down is watching this movie three or four times :)
Others: Love Actually Christmas Vacation The Nightmare Before Christmas Die Hard (The circuits which cannot be cut locally are cut automatically in response to a terrorist threat--you asked for miracles, I give you the Eff-Bee-Eye)
And Leslie, you clearly do not have a soul. How can you not love It's a Wonderful Life?????

You're all forgetting Muppets' Christmas Carol
A. I love, love, love that the Gormleys are answering qotd.
B. It's a Wonderful Life is so boring and completely over-rated.
C. Carrie is right. The Muppets' Christmas Carol is awesome. Almost as good as the Great Muppet Caper...
