When a new movie opens do you see it opening weekend?

I don't go to the movies as much as I used to or would like to anymore. I'd have loved to see batman this weekend though. Hopefully I'll catch that or Xfiles next.
Depends on the movie. I had wanted to see Mama Mia! this weekend, but plans got in the way. While I go to movie a lot, I am not a diehard of having to see it opening weekend unless I really want to see the movie
Rarely...I kinda wanted to see Batman this weekend until I saw that the line from the Uptown stretched all the way down to the Zoo. Going to see it tonight instead :)
If I am going to see a movie in the theater I like to see it opening weekend because it makes me happy when people applaud. It makes it more of an event. Totally more fun.
if i can, and it's not too crazy, then yeah, i like to know what happens before any spoilers get in the way. i saw batman last night at a drive in...it totally rocked. watching a movie out of the back of your car, as opposed to cramped in with everyone else sitting next to you...awesome

Absolutely! I saw Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties at midnight on the day it opened and man was it crazy. Wow!

never ever. that requires a level of organization and commitment to planning that i lack.
i think i like movies that no one cares about so i don't have to wait in lines.
i just watched 'once' last night finally. i'm not really up to speed on movies.
